The Minden Opera House is a non-profit facility that relies heavily on volunteers in a variety of positions. Here is a brief description of the volunteer jobs available at the Minden Opera House. Volunteers who assist with performances will get free admission to that event.

Volunteer Opportunities

Event Opportunities

1 - 2 hours during special events

• Box Office - Sell tickets using an online ticketing system.
• Greeter - Welcome guests as they arrive & assist with doors.
• Ushers - Help guests find their seats in the theatre.
• Concession Stand - Serve pop, candy, and popcorn at events.
• Gift Shop - Operate the Gift Shop register for guest purchases.

Weekday Opportunities

Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 4 pm

• Mailings (1 to 2 hours every other month) - Fold and label newsletters or other mailings.
• Dusting & Cleaning (various) - Help keep MOH looking its best for our guests.
• Tours (as needed) - Give tours to scheduled groups.
